Practical Magick Tips: Working With the Web of Wyrd.

The Web of Wyrd is made of wool spun by the Nordic Goddess Frigga and is used by the Norns, Urðr, Verðandi and Skuld. The Web is how the norns spin fate and there are ways we can tap into the power of the Web of Wyrd to encourage changes we'd like to see. Any of the Elder Futhark runes can be laid over the Web and chanted or sang to to activate and tap into their powers. You can also attach things like money, slips of paper with intentions written on them and really use your imagination to come up with new ways of using it. You can make a Web of Wyrd pretty easy and soon I will be selling them as a part of my Seiðr and Spá Collection. I make mine with an embroidery wooden circle, different colored embroidery floss and a lot of energy work.

To make this a practical magick tip, use a Web you have purchased or made yourself to hang on your wall (oooo looks like simple decor for us covert witches) and when needed it can be taken off the wall, shaken while you dance and chant, drum and sing. Visualize the weaving of fate that you would like to see happen and ask the Norns to hear your prayers.
